It is also backed up by high strength, precision cut, solid brass gears and a machined forged anodized aluminum spool that provides incredible strength and durability. A premium eight bearing system with seven stainless steel double shielded bearing and one zero reverse one-way clutch bearing delivers super smooth casting and reeling performance as well.

To make sure more fish end up in the livewell, the Lew’s Laser MG Speed Spool SLP Casting Reel features a durable Rulon drag system that provides up to 15lbs of stopping power. It is also equipped with an anodized aluminum bowed 95mm handle and Lew’s custom paddle knobs for all day comfort.
